I have to install SkillQuest in all computers where I want to use the application?
No, SkillQuest is a Web Application, you only need to install the server-side part (only in premises mode) of the application in a unique computer. The client side is a Silverligt application, that runs is a Browser, and is downloaded the first time you use it.
How can I manage my recruiting process with SkillQuest?
Applicants can register, classify their skills, you can make interviews to the applicants, classify the interviews, and classify the applicant skills. All this information will be used to search the best matching human resources for a position.
How do SkillQuest to find the best matching applicants for a position?
SkillQuest uses the Shortcut K-Engine Services. See K-Engine description for details.
How to do I start a recruitment process?
Start by creating a campaign, define the campaign including the Hard Skills and Soft Skills. Set the campaign to “Open”. The campaign will be automatically showed in the first page of the application. Candidates can apply to the campaign, or is also possible to add any registered user as a candidate for a campaign.
Can I export the results?
Yes, it’s possible to export the results in Microsoft Excel format and Microsoft Word.
What is the difference between hard skills and soft skills?
Hard skills are technical competencies, like “read in English” or “developing in Java”. Soft skills are psychological or sociological skills, like motivation or decision making.
